Experience

Software Engineer Intern

Carlson Software, Maysville, KY

Feature Extraction from 3-D models, specifically feature extraction from point clouds. Code was mainly written in C++ with some code written in CUDA. Worked on a novel algorithm for feature extraction with speedups from reduced complexity, better data-structures, and parallelism.

Research Fellow

University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY

Developed methodology for bio-mass capture from lidar scans of crops. Main focus was on scanning equipment development and then scan matching algorithms for the field. Also learned about corn and sorghum agriculture.

Software Engineer Intern

Computer Services, Inc., Lexington, KY

Frontend web dev. for financial institutions. Development, planning, maintenance, and bugs - complete lifecycle handled by our team. Tech stack mainly included JS and PHP along with in-house Wordpress based tool.
